Why does my persian kitty jump on my bed when I’m in it in the morning?
Sometimes, my kitty will jump on my bed when I sleep in and she will just rub on a protruding elbow, finger, foot and toe! Why do do kitties do this? To get attention? To ” show ” you they need food?
Yes, I think it is for attention. My cat is like a fuzzy alarm clock! She stands on my chest and head-butts me in the nose, as if to say “wake up!” She also rubs her head on any available body part and will meow at me, sometimes relentlessly until I get up. Since I do give her fresh food in the morning, I assume these behaviors are her way of saying “I’m ready for breakfast.” So, I think what your cat is doing is totally normal.
