When dogs get old do they still play with toys?

My dog is an 11 yr old Bichon and he used to play with this toy all the time but hes just not interested anymore, does that mean I should buy him a new toy? Or is this just part of him getting older.?

Many do quit playing in their senior years, but not all. I’m sure he’d love some new toys, but it likely is age.
